Day 16 Burlington, VT

Posted by on July 7, 2012

Day 16
Tuesday July 3, 2012
We found a nice spot to anchor just south of the Burlington VT mooring fields.
Burlington was having its 4th celebration a day early. There was live music and daredevil air show and fireworks. … again we have a front row seat. The air show was the most impressive part. It was a bi-plane who was doing loop de loops over the boats and crowd and sometimes we lost view of him thinking holy cow he crashed but then he would pull up into view and take off vertically. It was impressive but also a bit scary.
We did go into town, a cute college town with a really neat main street (college st) market place. We reprovisioned with some wine and vodka as needed. It was a bit rolly on the anchorage but OK.
